Carriers:

What is a load tender? What necessary information should be present on a load tender?

A load tender is a confirmation of load sent to the carrier. It must contain complete addresses of shipper and consignee along with postal codes, freight description, freight dimensions, total weight, agreed rate and associated terms and conditions.

What is the best way to communicate us in order to update the shipment status?

Usually our dispatch associate provides full contact information including email address and phone number in load confirmation tender. Beside this, you can always send your queries to [email protected] mentioning the load confirmation number in subject line and one of our associate will respond to you at earliest.

What should I driver do if freight loading or unloading takes more time than that mentioned on the load tender?

We always require carrier to note in/out times at loading and unloading. In this way, we will be able to compensate the carrier for the wait time. In some cases, we ask the customer to expedite loading or unloading to avoid wait times.

When a carrier delivers freight, what should be the next process of communication?

After the delivery is done, carrier must send signed POD to [email protected] along with the service invoice. Please remember to add Load confirmation number in all your communication with us.

When to update the documents (insurance, and other certificates) in our system?

We encourage our carrier partner to send the updated insurance to our carrier compliance at [email protected] before expiry. However, our carrier compliance always makes sure that we have their updated insurance in file for each carrier before sending the load tender.

Shippers:

What is bill of lading?

The Bill of Lading is a binding between the carrier and the shipper. Shipper must provide the Bill of Lading to the carrier upon pick-up.

If you are a first-time shipper, what necessary information do we require from you?

We usually require new customer and credit application forms from our new customers. These forms can be requested from our account associate or can be downloaded from resource section.

What is a load information sheet? what information should it contain?

A load information sheet contains complete information of freight (shipper address, consignee address, dimensions, weight and rate). In addition to that, we require shipper and receiver references (which can be PO number, BOL number or confirmation number) in load information sheet.

How to keep track of your shipments?

Generally, our account associate provides regular updates to our customer. Additionally, You can check the shipment updates by sending email at [email protected] and one of our associate will get back to you at earliest.

What makes us different from other logistics providers?

We can serve the lane not usually covered by most carriers. We offer most competitive rates on those lanes. Our large carrier network makes us more flexible to offer customized solutions to our customers.

Can we haul household goods or personal items from one place to another?

No. we can’t haul household goods or personal items, you can contact van lines for this purpose. We can haul commercial property or freight.

Can we transport fragile items, over sized equipment or machinery?

Yes. By using respective standard protocols, we can transport all types of fragile items and over sized equipment/ machinery. Our standard protocols for such type of freight can be requested from our associates.

Can we offer additional services i.e., driver assist, shunting, dunnage etc.

Yes. We can offer all such services at an addition fee. Please consult our associate for more details.

Can we arrange a shipment pick-up from a residential address?

Yes. A shipment can be pick-up or delivery to a home address for an additional charge. The charges are standard. Please consult our associate to inquire about these charges.
